The surface is grey and crumbling. Some of the lime is leaching out of the concrete, giving a chalky appearance to the sides where it lay buried beneath the ground. On top of the marker, in the center, is a simple incised number "7". There is flaking dirt in the crevice of the number; bits of dried grass and earth cling to the upper edges of the marker. The top has small well-worn divets and nicks, from lawn-mowers and shovels that hit it over the years.
