What is The E-Mentoring Program?

The E-Mentoring Program uses technology and mentoring to prepare a student with disabilities for their transition from high school to employment or college.  While being supported by a mentor, each student navigates a self-directed on-line course that results in the development of a personalized transition portfolio.

How do I begin my own e-mentoring program?

Steps for implementing an e-mentoring program walks you through how to implement an e-mentoring program of your own.    Each program instructor will receive a guide that contains information you need to successfully implement this program at your site!

Why should I implement The E-Mentoring Program?

Implementing the on-line course and managing mentors/mentees all play a role in generating valuable benefits of the program.  The E-Mentoring Program provides assistance to your students who are planning their transition from high school to work or college.

“At this time, we have had three groups of students participating in the E-Mentoring Program. By all accounts, it is by far the most popular among the students. For some students, they recognize that they matter.”
